What is Cold Brew?

Cold Brew is usually portrayed as iced coffee because that’s how it is being commercialised, especially by the big coffee chains, but it is so much more than that. You can drink cold brew with ice, there is nothing wrong with that, but do not be confused with other types of iced coffee, such as regular brewed coffee with ice.

The real difference of this brewing method is the water temperature in which the extraction of coffee takes place. While regular coffee methods use near boiling temperatures to quickly extract the properties of coffee, Cold Brewing exchanges time for temperature, taking from 4 up to 24 hours depending on the method to make a full batch.

In general, Cold Brew has a sweeter, less acidic taste profile, has a higher amount of anti-oxidants, and has far more versatile consumption options relative to regular coffee due to the stability of its body and flavour profile.

Can I drink it hot?

Absolutely - a major benefit of our coffee is the flexible consumption available. You can drink it hot, cold, black, with milk, even as a smoothie or cocktail! For a hot coffee, simply add hot water or milk, with a 2-3 part water / milk to coffee ratio and you are good to go! Check out our Instagram for regular recipe ideas and updates.

How do you source and roast your coffee?

Our coffee is sourced and roasted by our local partners, right here in Hong Kong. The coffee is sourced through Sucafina, a global network of coffee professionals who help source specialty grade coffee across the globe, with a central focus on sustainability and shared value.

What is the shelf life?

To ensure you enjoy the freshest and best tasting coffee, we brew the day before your delivery, and do not add any preservatives of any kind. If stored in the refrigerator and unopened, our coffee will stay fresh for up to 10 days. (Pro tip: pour some Dawn Cold Brew into an ice cube tray if you're worried about getting through it all in time!)

Do you have different strength levels?

We have designed our coffee to provide an easy and flexible consumption experience: simply mix with 2 to 3 parts water / milk to enjoy a well balanced great tasting 8oz / 240mL standard cup of coffee tailored to your desired strength and coffee drink.

That said, we understand that everyone has different taste preferences, and we want to allow for that. As a result, we are looking to produce an extra strong version of our coffee. Please reach out to us and let us know if this is something that you would be interested in so we can plan accordingly!

Shipping and Returns

When do you ship and how long will my order take?

To ensure maximum Cold Brew quality and freshness, we roast our beans on Mondays, brew 3 days later on Thursdays and ship same day delivery on Fridays. In effect, place your order by Monday morning and you are guaranteed to receive your coffee the following Friday. For any orders placed after Monday morning, we will do our best to deliver that same week.

What are your delivery fees?

We offer free delivery in Hong Kong for all orders. We do not currently ship internationally, however we are currently in the process of planning our next geographical expansion so please reach out and let us know if interested to receive deliveries elsewhere!

My shipment arrived damaged or went missing. Can you help?

Of course! Any issues with your delivery, simply email us here or text us directly in reply to our confirmation text sent you after you placed your order and we will make it right.

Do you accept returns?

For our Cold Brew, we do not - but we have a 100% satisfaction guarantee, so if you're not happy, just get in touch and we will make it right. 

Subscriptions

Do you offer your coffee on subscription?

Absolutely! Subscribe and save 15% on any of our boxes. Simply select subscription at check out, choose the order frequency (anytime from weekly to monthly) and you are good to go. The best way to get amazing value and not worry about running out of Cold Brew!

Is there a minimum commitment?

Nope - you can cancel anytime, with no minimum commitment.

Can I easily modify my subscription?

Yes - you can easily modify your subscription (i.e. different flavours or strength profile), skip a delivery, put it on hold or even cancel anytime. The easiest way is to text us directly in reply to the confirmation text received after you placed your order and we will take care of everything from there.
